Don't perfect yourself. BE yourself.
As a first time, self-taught author, I am always seeking ways to improve my craft. I specialize in fantasy and science fiction, and am constantly looking for a good story I can delve into without looking back. I love something with a good plot, more twists than a Six Flags roller coaster, and a character-driven path that leads to ruin, achievement, and satisfaction. And hopefully, I can write something that fits these standards! With a background in sequential art, I utilize my technique of setting, time and pacing, juxtaposition, character development, and camera placement- all to paint a scene, brimming with emotion, engagement, and immersion.
When I'm not reading or writing, I enjoy time with my wife and family, drawing, getting lost in a good board or video game, a thrilling show or movie, or a nice walk through the woods. I am also a musician, with a background in drums and piano. Although I don't pursue this, it is more of a hobby. Music is the center of my creations, and without it, my imagination lacks color. Needless to say, I love creative works in all formats, and admire folks who believe in expressing themselves, whether its creatively, technically, socially, or any form. Just be yourself!
My current project- as of 2024
My first novel I am working on is called Genoma, an epic fantasy with a flavor science fiction hidden under the crust. It is a complete story, currently under agent query! I started officially writing it in 2016, but the ideas and short stories began in 2000, when I made comics and splash pages of the characters. They came to life and decided they all wanted to be part of a universe that would someday see the light of an audience.
